Although it might seem a bit daunting you can trim your baby's nails in just a few simple steps:
- Use a pair of baby scissors or clippers made especially for tiny fingers.
- Press the finger pad away from the nail to avoid nicking the skin, and keep a firm hold on your baby's hand as you clip.
Alternatively, you can have a partner use a fingernail to lift the baby's nail away from the skin to ensure your baby doesn't accidentally get cut.
